Intura acquires Tube4sun

Intura expands its range with the acquisition of Tube4Sun light tunnels

Nijkerk, 9 April 2024 – Intura daylight solutions, the leading supplier of innovative daylight systems, is proud to announce the acquisition of Tube4Sun (Daylight Company), a company specialising in the development of high-quality light tunnels. This strategic acquisition marks an important step in Intura's growth strategy and underlines its commitment to sustainable and energy-efficient daylight solutions. The new series of Intura daylight products will be marketed under the name: Intura SunTube.

In the coming period, Intura will focus on rebranding and further developing the product. Intura SunTube light tunnels for flat and sloping roofs have a significant advantage over other comparable products on the market in that they feature a crystal glass dome. The dome is self-cleaning, does not yellow and algae or dirt will not adhere to it, meaning there will be no loss of light over the years. The crystal dome also offers better resistance to fire spread. In addition, the basic sets can be expanded with Ecopower insulation elements with HR++ or triple glazing HR+++. This daylight source is suitable for both residential and non-residential buildings (such as offices, schools and industrial buildings).

Production and warehousing have already been transferred to Intura in Nijkerk.
